Question:-

The terrorist attack on the USA appears to show that that the USA is hated. Some say it is the most hated country in the world. Why? Is it because others envy their freedom, Democracy and achievements?

Comment:-

The US government, its Agencies, and many of its powerful Corporations that appear to be responsible to no one, constitute the greatest terrorist organizations in the World. There is really no difference between them and other terrorists except that they are many times more destructive and dangerous than organizations such as the Mafia and other criminals, psychopaths, and primitive minds of the school bullies.

They pursue their selfish interests, or rather that of the few who hold the wealth and power, irrespective of the rights or welfare of others or of humanity or the planet.

They have plundered, polluted, corrupted and coerced a great part of the world, exploited, caused conflicts, rebellions, insurrections, wars, oppression, injustices, intrigues, sabotage, subversions, atrocities, destruction, impoverishment, great inequalities in wealth and power and capabilities, deprivation, starvation, disease, ignorance, and the terrorism, insecurity, fear, paranoia, and hysteria, throughout the world.

They have toppled democratically elected governments in South America and elsewhere, set up dictatorships and tyrannies, stimulated and financed terrorist organization, created civil wars and sabotaged many international conferences designed to improve the condition of the world. They have experimented on their own citizens, caused mutilation, disease and death.

All this, of course, provokes terrorism against them and those who support them. But they take advantage of this to increase their oppression and bully others to toe their line with threats and bribes.

There can be no progress for humanity while the USA has the power and is supported by the power and wealth holders in all the other countries because their interest is connected with theirs.

Of course all nations pursue their own interests, but it is the USA which has the greatest power. Nothing will change until the whole system is changed to serve a purpose different from the current one.

One would have thought that the USA was now rich and powerful enough to make a difference to the world - that narrow selfish concerns of making a living and achieving personal security no longer dominated thinking and they could help the development of the rest of the world.

But this has not happened owing to the fact that the system of life they have established in the USA has increased insecurity and emotional deprivation. This has made them more self-centred, neurotic, aggressive and materialistic. This is because of the fierce competition, economic instability that brings threats of unemployment, concentration of wealth in the hands of the few, destruction of the family, and the rise of crime and violence. The increase in pollution, wastage of resources and destruction of the ecological system are the result of the materialism and self-centredness so caused. All these factors are interdependent.

Though they think themselves civilized, the USA is the most violent country in the world with a relatively large population of criminals, psychopaths, bigots, primitive minded people, neurotics and psychotics. They have perhaps the most depraved culture which they also export throughout the world through film, video, television and the internet. Though they talk much of freedom, they are, except for a minority, the most brainwashed and law ridden and tend to mistake self-indulgence for freedom. This is because their materialistic ambitions, and the fast pace of life created by it, leaves them little time to think. This makes them easily manipulated by intense campaigns by newspapers, magazines, radio, television, advertisers and political propagandists. As for Democracy, it is the few power holders who manipulate all things with their wealth, while remaining immune from the bad consequences of their actions.

It seems that the present hysteria about terrorists is not because people got killed (many thousands got killed in Bosnia, Kosova, Africa and Vietnam and elsewhere without such hysterics) but because of the destruction of the Temple (the World Trade Centre) containing the Idol worshipped by the holders of power, wealth and privilege. The desire to suppress their own guilt feelings by concentrating attention on scapegoats also plays a part.

However, they also have the greatest number of Scientists, a large proportion of whom come from Europe and Asia, who contribute to the progress of knowledge though this is applied mainly in technology for financial profit. The real beneficial effects tend to be accidental. They have a large number of inventors and entrepreneurs who have learnt to harness and exploit the human vices of greed, lust, vanity, pride, sloth, envy and gluttony, which is responsible for the increasing environmental, social and psychological problems that threaten to destroy the society and the planet also.
